How do I generate and translate subtitles?

Upload audio or video, generate subtitles, open the project, and choose a target language to translate saved subtitles. Direct SRT, VTT, or ASS upload and batch translation are not supported. Each project keeps only its latest successful translation.

What can I export?

SubtitleBro supports SRT, VTT, ASS, TXT, and DOCX exports. Choose original, translation, or bilingual content. DOCX exports include timestamps and existing speaker labels; TXT exports contain plain text without timestamps. Subtitle exports can split long cues at sentence or word boundaries to follow your maximum subtitle duration. Saved exports count toward storage.

Does removing media remove my subtitles?

Removing media deletes its source and audio preview and frees their storage. It keeps saved subtitles, translations, summaries, exports, and active text share links. Project text has a separate retention setting. Deleting the whole project removes its text and stops sharing.

How are annual subscriptions and upgrades billed?

Annual subscriptions charge the full annual amount, with monthly allowance resets. An upgrade charges the full new-plan price immediately and starts a new cycle without proration. Cancel renewal in Billing or contact support about a downgrade or refund request.
